If you are looking for a way to make significant money look into the FOREX market.

There are many advantages:

Not subject to the restrictions of the stock market.
In the stock market if you day trade you have to have $25,000 in your account.
Options are a way around this also.
You can trade options in and out all day leveraging what the underlying stock is doing.

The Forex can't be manipulated like a Enron type stock.
It is what it is.
Greenspan talks the dollar down and it is open info for everyone.

Leverage. People say Real Estate is where it is at because the banks won't lend you money to play the stock market. The Forex is leveraged from 30 to 200 times. This is a two edged sword though. You can lose quickly so be careful.

Stops are stops. In stocks a big drop can fly by your stops and leave you unprotected. In the Forex if you want to risk $100 on a position then you set your stop accordingly and go to sleep if you want.

Active. The Forex is a lively market that brings in all the world events and merges them. Awareness and insight can help you here. I am more a technical trader but the daily news bumps the data around.

If you look into doing the Forex get a demo account for a month or more. Become profitable on paper before you risk your nest egg. Trade with money carefully. Because it is leveraged so much you should learn and practice good money management. Good rule of thumb is to risk no more than 2% of your funds on hand in a single trade. If it takes more pass it up.

Anyone else trading Forex?

Steve
