Hi All:

This is my first post to Buzzy's board, and I must say I'm really enjoying the conversation thread that is going on here. Amit brings up a great question that I would like to speak to....

>What is the starting point of all achievement? Is it Networking? Is it Knowledge? Or is it Motivation?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that it is neither networking, knowledge or motivation. The starting point of all achievement begins with your BELIEF that you are deserving of wealth. It's a topic that has stifled hundreds of thousands of people in their quest for personal wealth. The guilt that some people feel over deserving prosperity is overwhelming. It's also a whole different discussion, so I'll stop here for now with the suggestion that everyone explore in private their own potential barriers to belief.

The next step in preparing for wealth is self development. It is imperative that you know precisely who you are, (and who you are not), your strengths, weaknesses, passions and your "assignment". Explore your value system, because this is where most conflicts occur. For example, I have my eye on a beautiful watch that costs more than a luxury car. Though I could have the watch on my arm, my value system of financial security won't allow me to be comfortable with that purchase. Most people that I help have a conflict here, which is a barrier to their wealth.

At some point, your true assignment will appear. Once again, there may be feelings of guilt or that little guy on your shoulder that says "what makes you so great?", or whatever it is for you personally. Once you know your assignment, wealth becomes a by-product of your efforts, not the quest.

I will give you an example of this in action: About 2 months ago, I decided (once again, very powerful...to decide rather than to wish for something) that I was going to create an extra stream of income through licensing. I wrote it down and read it every day. This was amusing to me, because I have nothing to license! Anyway, about 2 weeks ago, I was approached by a company that wanted me to co-brand their products and take them over. I am now buying the company and guess what? There are 5 licensing deals in the works.

This is getting a bit long, so I'll stop here for now. Amit, there is DEFINATELY a path to wealth, and everybody starts at the beginning of the path.

Happy Easter everybody!
